On behalf of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Gannon University, a group of students have been working to develop
a wellness program “Wholly Fit” within your congregation! We recognize the need for promotion and encouragement of living a healthy lifestyle for the older adult. Our purposes in conducting this program are to provide educational insight and offer safe activities to promote overall health, wellness, and fitness.
We’ve determined the program will last seven weeks and take place on Thursdays, March 8 through April 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The first and last sessions will be a general health assessment to track your progress.
Based on the responses we received from all of you, this is what the rest of the curriculum entails:
- Strength, Home Based Exercise & Walking
- Dancing & Endurance
- Yoga & Flexibility
Brain Games, Stress Management & Functional Balance
If interested in participating in this program, fill out and return the registration form to Mary Ann Sesler by February 18.
Click here: Wholly Fit for a registration form. Email this form to her at [email protected].We would prefer if you could attend all 7 sessions, however if you have a conflict and miss a class we understand. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you didn’t fill out the initial questionnaire!
Thank you for your consideration and support of the students
of the Gannon Doctorate of Physical Therapy program.
We greatly appreciate it and
we look forward to working with you!
Thank you, Gannon University DPT students
