StudySpace A Huge Success!
Gannon University students filled the halls and classrooms of First Covenant each night from December 7 through December 13, 2017 to study for final exams and they loved it. Thank you for your donations of baked goods, fruit, snacks, water, prayer and hours of service meeting ‘n greeting each student through the late night and early morning hours.
The week began with 90 students the first night, and then for two nights 300 students crammed the nooks and crannies of Covenant, and then there were 60 students on the last night of StudySpace. Each night at 11:30 p.m. about half of those students studying gathered voluntarily in the sanctuary or chapel for a brief time of lighting the Advent wreath, bible reading, singing a couple verses of a Christmas carol and prayer for their exams.
A special thank you to all those who contributed to this ministry. Plans are underway for the next StudySpace at Covenant when students at Gannon will prepare for Spring exams.
