Our Sunday Fellowship & Coffee Hour in the First Covenant parlor is a place for special congregational connections and celebrations. We are blessed with people who graciously foster hospitality with creative and generous treats after worship on Sunday mornings. It is always amazing to see, hear and feel the vibes of appreciation and connection during this time. This is part of the Hospitality Ministry at First Covenant. If you would like to become engaged with this ministry, there are several ways to do so. There is a sign-up sheet in the parlor. Expectations are that you will help with preparation, set up, serving and clean-up for that date. Coffee is prepared by Dante (our Sunday host) and assorted other beverages are provided. Your role is to prepare and provide treats and snacks for after both worship services. Items should be out around 9:15 a.m., keep it simple and have fun. So pick a date and add your name or group to Sunday Fellowship & Coffee Hour. Someone from the fellowship group will follow-up with a call to see what help you need.
There is another way to ease into this ministry. We could use a few volunteers to assist with coordinating, set-up and clean-up on Sundays.
This would not be an every Sunday commitment, just occasional help when we have bigger celebrations. This is an easy way to familiarize yourself with the parlor, learn where everything is and see how the magic of Sunday morning actually happens. Thank you to everyone who works so hard to ensure the continuation of this time for fellowship. Please sign-up in the parlor or see Karen Weichman, Deb Loney or Lorie Fritts or contact the church office.
