Volunteers are needed once again for Thank God It’s Franks on Friday, October 4. This popular outreach event provides an opportunity to meet ‘n greet Gannon University students and our neighbors and features hot dogs. Join Rachel Kennedy and the Campus Ministry team as they staff an outdoor barbecue from 10 p.m. to midnight in the church’s south parking lot on West 7th Street. If you can volunteer to help out, contact Rachel Kennedy. This fun outreach has proven to be a very successful way to engage students and neighbors in our West Bayfront neighborhood. First Covenant brings God’s love to our neighbors. It’s all about relationship building and this outreach program has led to long-standing relationships with students and it has given FPCC a reputation of hospitality and service to the community among Gannon faculty and students. The next TGIF -Thank God Its Franks is Oct 25.
